Composition

• Lactic acid: is an organic acid derived from milk, belonging to the aphahydroxy acid family; it is able to break the bonds created between keratinocytes (removing them) and thus promoting cell renewal (turn-over) that is quicker and more delicate than glycolic acid. Stimulates the synthesis of new collagen and elastin fibers (neocollagenesis and neoelastogenesis). Its fundamental property is that of being a caustic with strong hygroscopic capabilities, that is, capable of attracting water molecules to the most superficial layers of the skin, making it visibly brighter and more compact;
• Citric acid: is present mainly in citrus fruits and is able to regulate skin pH and sebum production. With antioxidant effect;
• Malic acid: mainly extracted from apples, is also an intermediate in the chain of conversion of carbohydrates into energy. It has illuminating, smoothing, hydrating and collagen-stimulating properties;
• Gluconolactone: also known as glucone delta lactone, is a member of the family of polyhydroxy acids, the new generation hydroxy acids, with a hydrating and delicately exfoliating action;
• Arginine: with a repairing, conditioning and hydrating action on the skin, as its molecular structure allows it to attract water and keep it bound, preventing the loss of transepidermal moisture;
• Lactobionic acid: very hygroscopic molecule and has a strong skin hydrating property. On the skin it retains atmospheric water together with that contained in the cosmetic with very strong bonds, forming a surface film similar to that produced by glycosaminoglycans, which limits TEWL and acts as emollient and protective. Regulates the keratinization process by promoting skin turnover and cell renewal, improving the appearance of the skin and making it luminous and uniform;
• Threonine: amino acid involved in protein synthesis. Contributes to the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, it makes the skin firmer, more elastic and hydrated, reduces fine lines and delays the aging process. Furthermore, it strengthens the protection of the epidermis against mechanical damage and accelerates wound healing;
• Ferulic acid: obtained from rice, oats and wheat where it is present in cell walls (also in coffee and amaranth). It is an excellent antioxidant (indicated for oxidative stress), capable of exfoliating and preventing cellular damage (treatment of fine wrinkles) by stimulating the production of collagen. It is also an excellent depigmentator;
• Thiotic acid: powerful, partially fat-soluble antioxidant, which helps defend the skin from oxygen free radicals, slowing down skin aging and the appearance of wrinkles and signs of aging.
